As part of the Fleischmann Centenary Programme in 2010, the Contemporary Music Centre welcomed members of the Fleischmann family and his former colleagues and friends to a reception on Friday, 19 February.
Aloys Fleischmann (1910-1992) made a major contribution to the development of music in Ireland as composer, teacher and crusading member of many organisations and committees, among them the Arts Council.
