Preview of Roger Doyle's The Room in the Tower

Roger Doyle - 'The Room in the Tower' from Contemporary Music Centre on Vimeo.

A soundtrack for an imaginary film, The Room In The Tower reveals a horror story based on a recurring nightmare. In the dimly lit room of a haunted house in the early 20th century, a story unfolds through recorded dialogue, electronic sounds and the ethereal live vocals and cello of Vyvienne Long and Roger Doyle on piano.

The Room in the Tower takes place during this year’s ABSOLUT Fringe in the Kevin Barry Room in National Concert Hall from 13-18 September. Further information from www.cmc.ie.
