An interview recorded via Skype on 18 November 2009 with young composer Ann Cleare, who talks about her work Eyam for contrabass clarinet and electronics.

The work will be premiered by clarinetist Carol McGonnell as part of the New Sound Worlds series in the Kevin Barry Room at National Concert Hall on 24 November 2009 at 8:30pm.

Interview with Frank Corcoran

Frank Corcoran talks to Jonathan Grimes about the Association of Irish Composers' concert on 7 November 2009, which features two of his works performed by German pianist Andreas Skouras. 

The concert includes the world premiere of his Nine Pratoleva Pearls and a performance of Sweeney's Total Rondo, a work composed for the 2003 AXA Dublin International Piano Competition.

Here's an interview which we recorded with Roger Doyle last Friday, 16 October 2009, in advance of the opening of CMC's outdoor sound gallery of his work which runs from 22 October to 31 October between 12.00 pm and 4.00 pm.

The Crash Ensemble also pays tribute to Roger Doyle with a concert of his works on 25 October in the Project Arts Centre.

Both events take place as part of the DEAF festival.
